香月泰男＿風
香月泰男 明治４４年－昭和４９年 山口県生まれ
『風』 昭和２３年作 東京藝術大学大学美術館所蔵
東京美術学校で学ぶ。昭和１８年応召され満州へ。敗戦後はシベリアに抑留され、同２２年に復員後は郷里山口県に戻り、下関高等女学校に帰任、県立大津高等学校に転任し、高校教師生活の最後までここに勤務した。その後、九州産業大学芸術学部の油絵科の教授となる。
昭和３４年以降、捕虜としてのシベリア体験シリーズを描いたシベリア・シリーズも有名。
